How can I vote ?
There are two ways to vote:
Online: You can submit your vote on btme.ae on the VOTE NOW page.
Voting slip: There are voting slips inserted into the February, March and April issues of Business Traveller Middle East magazine.
How are the winners chosen ?
The awards are voted for by our readers, with all votes independently counted and audited by Jacobsons Direct.
How can I be nominated for an award ?
The nomination process is open to all. The voting slips are not marked with outlet names, these need to be completed by the voter.
If I am nominated, how can I get votes ?
You can encourage your customers to vote for you. You can download ‘Vote for Us’ digital marketing tools to promote your outlet online to your customers. These include ‘Vote for Us’ email banners, email signature and a ‘Nominee’ logo badge. You can encourage your fans to vote across all social media channels and direct them to the BTME Awards website.

What do I do with my voting slips?
Voting slips will need to be sent to the independent auditing company Jacobsons Direct for counting and verifying. These need to be sent to:

All voting slips need to be sent to Jacobsons before 5pm on April 7th, and we cannot accept voting slips that are sent after 5pm on the day voting closes.
How will the votes be counted?
All votes, both paper and online, will be counted and cross-referenced by our independent official votes processing partner Jacobsons Direct.
Can I vote for myself? What happens if I do?
Votes submitted by your customers are the only votes that will be counted. It has been noted that in their enthusiasm some staff have resorted to voting for the outlets they work in – perhaps on behalf of the customers. Please actively discourage this as this is very easily detected at the auditing stage and could result in disqualification of the outlet concerned.
How can I use social media to encourage voting?
We would recommend that you direct your customers to vote online. You can LIKE our facebook page and share this on your social media sites to encourage voting. We would also suggest you use your Twitter account to follow @btmideast and re-tweet any posts about the awards.
THE AWARDS, TABLES AND TICKETS
When will I know if I have been shortlisted for an award?
The shortlists will be announced on April 12th. The events team will be in touch to let you know if you have been successfully shortlisted for an award after voting closes.
How do I collect my award?
The awards will be presented to the winners at the awards ceremony. The award ceremony will take place on Sunday 24th April 2016.
Will I get any free tickets?
Those who have been successfully shortlisted in the top three will receive two complimentary passes for the awards ceremony.
